Yahoooo!
We went out today and performed Barb's last Dive before she became a certified Scuba diver!
No pictures today.
The seas were too rough for my video camera and to be honest I was feeling a bit green on the boat! We will have to invest in and underwater camera sometime soon to share our under water adventures with you!
As for today's dives. We were off of the Ft. Lauderdale coast and 2 amazing dives were performed.
- A ship wreck in 62 feet of clear blue water
- Perect coral reef in 60 feet of water
All manner of marine life was to be found but the most exciting was at the ship wreck.
A beautiful 5 foot stingray approached us and circled us about 5 times. He allowed us to touch him and it was awesome!
Also poping in and out of the wreckage were 2 awesome emerald green 8 foot long Moray eels. No we did not touch these bad boys.
A lastly by my most favorite.
Two 500 lbs groupers graced us with there presecience but were very shy. They peeked in and out of the wreckage numersous times!
This will likely be just the beginning of an awesome journey! Our long term plans are to dive the amazing Sardine run that happens only once a year right off of the tip of Africa!
Cheers and have a beautiful day!
If you ever want to go on a trip with us then just reachout! Also please know that staying in top shape is best for when you are traveling. There is nothing worse then spending thousands of dollars on a trip of a lifetime only to sprain an ankle on a walk, cut a dive short because you breathe too heavy and quickly run out of air and etc.
