Why Supplementing Is A Good Thing

In a perfect world we would not need to create "supplements". After all supplements are designed to do just what the name states. Supplement your daily dietary needs to improve your performance or your results.
But sadly our world is far from perfect. In-fact in a "profit driven" world things can quickly turn upside down. And turned upside down is what has happened to our society. With over 66% of the nation being overweight, I think there is NO refuting this statement. Fast food, processed food, microwaves, pesticide infested farms, man-made chemicals to make products addictive, tainted livestock, meat and dairy farms, legislation to keep you from growing your own organic farms and the list goes on and on.
So what are we to do? First you should do your best to avoid all man-made processed food. Then do your best to eat clean organic foods and support local farmers and not big tycoon food manufactures. And then you supplement to fill in the gaps!
· It is impossible to obtain all the vitamins/minerals we need from our food. The food is depleted because the soil is depleted. Remember our bodies are comprised of vitamins and minerals and you need to re-supply your reserves constantly.
