Accountability Partners Are Key To Your Success

People fail for many reasons. Lack of internal desire and personal commitment are usually one of the top reasons for failure no matter what the endeavor. Most people cannot help you with creating more internal passion but people can help you with personal commitment.
This of course means you have in fact made a commitment. Do you remember this past post:
1) Decide
a) Decide to make a change for the better
b) Decide on the proper eating / supplement and workout plan that will fit YOU (if you don’t find a good fit for you then you will not succeed) – To help you, BeachBody has created over 110 workout programs.

2) Commit
a) Commit to your plan and stick with it
b) Commit to a success partner / mentor / accountability partner
c) Commit by telling the world – The more people know the harder it is to miss your workouts
d) Commit to tracking your goals
Take pics & measurements
3) Modify as needed and repeat step 2
a) Sometimes our bodies need a little different nudge than originally thought or anticipated if this is the case then be patient make a few changes and keep moving forward.
One of the most over looked elements to the above elements is:
b) Commit to a success partner / mentor / accountability partner
c) Commit by telling the world – The more people know the harder it is to miss your workouts
The bottom line is: FIND someone you feel comfortable with who will push you to become successful for your goals. Drop everyone who tries to stop you. This is true for all endeavors of life to include setting fitness goals.
In fact; Workout Partners Are Important!
Over the last 17 years I have seen many people succeed at their health goals but sadly I have seen more fail. There of course are many reasons for failure but one of the top reasons are: Not having a workout partner.
Workout partners / buddies can be anyone and they do not necessarily need to be with you at your workout. (though this is optimal) You see partners can keep us inspired when we are down, pick us up when we drag, keep our form proper, keep you from sand bagging a workout, keep you from cheating on your diet, keep you from missing a day and so much more.
I found tonight that even having a few extra people in the gym kept my form much better. This was mental of course because I did not want to look "bad" in front of others. But it worked and it kept me from slouching and I felt myself reaching for that extra centimeter when perhaps I would not have done so without an on looker.
So in short find someone that wants to see you succeed as much as you do and stick with them!
The good news if you do not have such a person, then no worries because Team Beach Body is waiting for you! We have an on-line support system that is second to none. Join us on-line and you will find the support of celeb trainers, hundreds of coaches and over 1 million workout people like yourself!
